Take command of London's ambitious underground expansion project as competing transport engineers race to create the most brilliant network design that will revolutionize how millions navigate the historic capital.
The city has entrusted you with reimagining one of the world's most famous transit systems, challenging you to optimize four distinct tube lines that weave through London's bustling districts. Every station card revealed presents new opportunities and constraints as you sketch routes that must efficiently serve the city's most treasured landmarks—from ancient monuments to modern marvels. The Thames poses both obstacle and opportunity, with valuable tunnel connections waiting beneath its waters for those bold enough to exploit them.
Success demands more than just connecting points on a map; you must balance the city's exacting specifications with your own strategic vision while your rival engineers pursue their competing designs. Each line you draw brings you closer to transportation perfection, but one miscalculation could derail your entire network. Only the most skilled project manager will emerge victorious, their underground masterpiece becoming the blueprint that shapes London's future for generations to come.

What Matthew says
"Next Station London had a long and winding development; it all started with me having this idea of drawing different metro lines with different coloured pencils, it should be easy to make a game from that right? Not so fast! It would take many failed versions that were often too long and complicated to arrive at the mechanisms of the final game - flip a card, and simply connect to a station of that type. And now some years later I am so humbled to hear from players who have played it hundreds of times and still love it - there is no better feeling as a game designer. The journey might have been long, but it was well worth it!"
